Inside and Outside Plant

Inside Plant

Government Agencies use Inside Plant to support telephones, videoconference terminals, data networking, and other communications needs within a building. The GTI Team can support all types of Inside Plant, from ordinary telephone wire through optical fiber to the desktop.

Inside Plant is subject to frequent changes. For example, if a building is undergoing floor-by-floor renovations, staff may be required to move twice or more. GTI has supported inside plant for Government Agencies since its founding; other members of the GTI Team are also fully qualified in this area.

Outside Plant

Government Agencies use Outside Plant to connect buildings and campuses together. As data sharing grows, and electronic records replace paper and microfilm, Agencies are installing new and expanded Outside Plant.

Outside Plant is generally installed in the ground and on utility poles. Because Outside Plant is intended for long-term use, the GTI Team offers construction warranties as standard.

When your network must cross a highway or other obstacle, GTI will work with you to obtain permits and schedule work to meet the requirements of local authorities.
